What are PTI's chances of reclaiming Karachi's NA-245 constituency?

Polling under way for Karachi's NA-245. Political pundits believe actual competition to take place between PTI and MQM-P. With Karachi’s NA-245 seat up for grabs after it fell vacant due to PTI MNA Aamir Liaquat Hussain’s death, a tough competition is expected between PTI, MQM-P and Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) in today's (Sunday) by-election for the constituency. The constituency comprises PIB Colony, Jamshed Road, Jahangir Road, Khudadad Colony, Lines Area, Jutt Lines, Abyssinia Lines, Martin Quarters, PECHS, Tariq Road, Soldier Bazaar, Patel Para, Garden East, New Town, Lasbela Chowk, Pakistan Quarters, Essa Nagri, Nishtar Basti, Old Sabzi Mandi and Parsi Colony among other areas. IHC issues notices on PTI’s petition against acceptance of resignations in ‘piecemeal’

Islamabad High Court building. — IHC website ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday issued notices to the National Assembly Speaker, secretary and the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on a petition filed by the PTI against the acceptance of resignations of its Members National Assembly (MNAs) in ‘piecemeal’. IHC acting Chief Justice Aamer Farooq heard the petition filed by the PTI, seeking direction to the ECP to denotify the party’s all 123 MNAs and declare the seats as vacant. During the course of the proceedings, the court directed that the representatives of the NA secretary appear before it along with the relevant record at the next hearing. UK paper unearths PTI’s foreign funding through Arif Naqvi’s offshore company

The combo shows PTI Chairman Imran Khan and Abraaj founder Arif Naqvi.  LONDON: The Financial Times (FT) has revealed in an investigation that Abraaj founder Arif Naqvi’s Cayman Islands-incorporated company Wootton Cricket Ltd was used to bankroll Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) after receiving funds from companies and individuals including at least £2mn in April 2013 from an influential Arab figure. The FT said in its report: “Pakistan forbids foreign nationals and companies from funding political parties, but Abraaj emails and internal documents seen by the Financial Times, including a bank statement covering the period between February 28 and May 30 2013 for a Wootton Cricket account in the UAE, show that both companies and foreign nationals as well as citizens of Pakistan sent millions of dollars to Wootton Cricket — before money was transferred from the account to Pakistan for the PTI.” The Election Commission of Pakistan has been investigating the funding of the P
